Emily Barns is a solicitor in our Queenstown Office. Emily graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws in 2022 and relocated to Queenstown to begin her legal career here at AWS Legal.
Emily assists Haydon Cunninghame and Jono Cole with property, commercial and private client matters in the Queenstown Office. Emily is enjoying developing her areas of practise, specifically residential and commercial property transactions, commercial leasing, residential subdivisions, sale and purchase of businesses, first home buyers and family trusts. Emily works to develop enduring relationships with clients and is looking forward building a client base in the Queenstown region.
Emily loves living in Queenstown and all of the people she has met there so far. Outside of work Emily can be found exploring the region, visiting friends and family, and in the winter – learning to ski!
