Byron joined our Property & Projects and Commercial teams in Invercargill at the start of 2025, after gaining his LLB from the University of Canterbury.
Byron brings a fantastic attitude and a keen willingness to learn from his experienced colleagues. He views his role as a vocation of service, striving to deliver top-notch outcomes for our clients.
A proud Southlander, Byron was determined to find a firm where he could give back to the community that shaped him. “I saw AWS Legal as the perfect opportunity to take my first steps into the legal profession, especially in commercial law, as it is a premier provider of such services in the region,” he says.
When he’s not in the office, Byron loves hitting the waves on weekends, playing social golf, hunting, and hanging out with friends. He’s also an active member of XO Church Invercargill, where he volunteers as much as possible.
