AWS Legal is a highly reputable and long-established law firm. Our people are proud Trusted Advisors, supporting a loyal client base in 6 offices throughout Southland and Central Otago.
We’re looking for a fulltime Receptionist in Invercargill, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
Being a Receptionist with AWS Legal
You are ‘the face’ of our office, responsible for delivering stellar customer service, general reception, and admin support to our wider team.
Your core focus is to offer an exceptional experience where all our people, clients and colleagues, can thrive. You will take pride running the reception area to welcome clients in person, answer incoming phone calls, monitor emails and meeting calendar bookings. In addition, your strong administration skills will be utilized to support the wider management team on tasks as required.
A variety of daily tasks may include: deal with couriers, liaise with suppliers & contractors, purchase supplies, join and assist our wellbeing committee, help co-ordinate team events and functions, housekeeping and associated duties which help keep our Head Office team running like a well-oiled machine.

- a first-class communicator, engaging with both colleagues and clients
- highly organized, able to prioritise your time effectively
- confident using digital office systems and software, Microsoft 365
- have high levels of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in your work
- thrive in a busy office environment, be calm and polite under pressure
- able to use your initiative during quieter periods
Experience in a legal environment is helpful, but not essential. Attitude is everything, you must be positive and committed to providing exceptional service.
