Congratulations to our newest Solicitor: Ayrton Shadbolt

We had the privilege of attending Ayrton’s admission to the bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand at Invercargill on Tuesday 5th November 2024.

After the celebrations of the day were done and with time to reflect, Ayrton said, “Years of study and persistence have paid off and I am fortunate to be able to officially join the legal profession as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. I would like to thank AWS Legal for their support and assistance in helping me reach this milestone in my life. I look forward to a challenging, yet satisfying career”.

After completing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canterbury, Ayrton made the move south as he was excited by the range of opportunities in different areas of law AWS Legal had to offer.  He’s looking forward to learning the inner workings of the corporate and business world, bringing matters to completion and getting stuck into some big projects.

We as a firm are excited to celebrate this milestone with Ayrton, his family and the wider team.  We look forward to seeing where his career and fresh ideas will take him from here on in!
